Basketball Recap: Thayer Finds Home Court Redemption Against Mt. Vernon

There's no place like home for Thayer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers with a sharp 67-42 win on Saturday. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mountaineers, too.

Thayer now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mt. Vernon, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Thayer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 71-40 victory against Greenwood on the 30th. As for Mt. Vernon, they will host Nevada at 6:00 p.m. on January 6th.
