Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mt. Pleasant Oilers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oilers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-9.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Mt. Pleasant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record this season.

Central will venture away from home to take on Dow at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will welcome Ludington at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
