Basketball Recap: Tucker's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

If North Springs wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Tucker, they should've done a better job of containing Harmonie Cooper. The Tucker Tigers walked away with a 41-34 win over the North Springs Spartans on Saturday thanks in part to Cooper, who posted 16 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tucker's points.

Tucker moved to 12-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for North Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tucker will welcome Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marist will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Tucker surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Springs, they will challenge Clarkston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Springs is facing Clarkston at the right time seeing as Clarkston is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
