Softball Recap: Anderson Indians vs. Warren Central Warriors

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warren Central Warriors. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jaycen Swink made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Warren Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
