Soccer Game Preview: Rouse vs. Lockhart

The Rouse Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Lockhart Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Rouse will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Rouse's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Lehman 1-0. Rouse's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Boji Geshev, which was the first he's scored this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Lockhart fell just short of Leander by a score of 3-2. Lockhart has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rouse's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for Lockhart, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

Rouse suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lockhart when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
