Basketball Recap: Plymouth North Takes a Loss

After flying high against Falmouth last Wednesday, Plymouth North came back down to earth. The Plymouth North Eagles lost 52-32 to the Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Plymouth North's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Plymouth North will square off against Hingham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plymouth North is facing Hingham at the right time seeing as Hingham is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Silver Lake Regional at 6:30 p.m. Whitman-Hanson Regional will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Silver Lake Regional will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's game.
