Basketball Game Preview: Parkview Panthers vs. Norcross Blue Devils

Parkview hasn't had much luck against Norcross recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Parkview Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Norcross Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Parkview duked it out withPeachtree Ridge on Friday. Parkview lost 68-47 to Peachtree Ridge. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while the Lions are ranked 55th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norcross). They were the clear victor by a 90-65 margin over Berkmar on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Norcross has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points per game. As for Parkview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
