Volleyball Game Preview: Pisgah Bears vs. Smoky Mountain Mustangs

The Pisgah Bears will venture away from home to take on the Smoky Mountain Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Pisgah came up short against Brevard on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Pisgah was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Smoky Mountain hadn't done well against North Henderson recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Mustangs blew past the Knights 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 26-24.

Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Smoky Mountain, their record is now 13-9.

Pisgah might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Smoky Mountain in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
