Softball Recap: West Boylston Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

West Boylston won the last time they faced Tahanto Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lions came out on top against the Stags by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

West Boylston pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tahanto Regional, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-5 record.

Coming up, West Boylston will face off against Lunenburg at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Knights have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Tahanto Regional, they will challenge Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
