Softball Recap: Del Oro Takes a Loss

The Del Oro Suns didn't have quite enough to beat the Bishop Union Broncos on Friday and fell 5-3. The Suns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Xitlali Anaya was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Bryana Garcia was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Del Oro now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Bishop Union, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Del Oro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-3 defeat against Foothill on the 29th. As for Bishop Union, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-5 victory against Rosamond on the 29th.
