Soccer Recap: East Bladen Takes a Loss

East Bladen and Raleigh Charter squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but East Bladen had to settle for second. They lost 4-1 to the Phoenix. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but East Bladen couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Ishaq Algozy, who's now up to 33 this season.

East Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 14-7-4. As for Raleigh Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6-3 record this season.

East Bladen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Raleigh Charter, they will face off against Franklin Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
