Basketball Recap: Raidon Barney's Big Game Can't Quite Lead South Sevier over Delta

South Sevier was the 46-39 winner over Delta when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 49-41 to the Rabbits on Wednesday.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Raidon Barney, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Barney is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Krew Winkel, who posted five points and five boards.

Delta's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bronco Bundy, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Robinson, who had 12 points and seven boards.

South Sevier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Delta, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

South Sevier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-55 loss against Richfield on the 5th. As for Delta, they have also already played their next game, a 54-53 defeat against Manti on the 5th.
