After losing to Hutchinson the last time they met, McPherson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bullpups sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Salthawks on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bullpups.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day McPherson got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

McPherson's win bumped their record up to 23-4-2. As for Hutchinson, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.

Coming up, McPherson will face off against Buhler on Tuesday. As for Hutchinson, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Garden Plain on the 11th.
