Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Norwell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past New Haven 10-2 on Tuesday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.
Cayden Cassel was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last five contests. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Drew Graft was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Logan Cotton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Norwell's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Adams Central, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Adams Central has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Norwell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
