Basketball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Takes a Loss

Mt. Enterprise lost against Alto back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats were dealt an 81-53 loss at the hands of the Alto Yellowjackets.

Mt. Enterprise lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaegan Ash, who went 9 of 17 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. That's the most points Ash has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Wilburn, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Mt. Enterprise's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Alto, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Douglass the next time they take the court. Alto will head out to face Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Enterprise will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
