Baseball Game Preview: Andress Eagles vs. Mountain View Lobos

The Andress Eagles will square off against the Mountain View Lobos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Andress nor Mountain View posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Andress' offense. They fell just short of Cathedral by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Mountain View also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Del Valle on Saturday, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Conquistadores: they've now lost six in a row.

Andress now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Andress came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain View when the teams last played back in March of 2015, sneaking past 5-4. Will Andress repeat their success, or does Mountain View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
