Basketball Recap: Bigfork Piles Up the Points Against Deer River

Bigfork won the last time they faced Deer River and things went their way on Friday too. The Bigfork Huskies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Deer River Warriors 79-46. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

Bigfork pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for Deer River, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Bigfork will take on Hill City/Northland in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Deer River and Greenway will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Deer River is facing Greenway at the right time seeing as Greenway is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
