Basketball Game Preview: Mansfield Senior Tygers vs. Ross Little Giants

The Mansfield Senior Tygers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Ross Little Giants at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mansfield Senior knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Ross likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Mansfield Senior strolled past Madison Comprehensive with points to spare, taking the game 85-69. The Tygers pushed the score to 70-40 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Ross lost 65-45 to Anthony Wayne on Thursday. The Little Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mansfield Senior's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ross, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Mansfield Senior was able to grind out a solid victory over Ross when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 52-45. Will Mansfield Senior repeat their success, or does Ross have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
