Council Rock North won the last time they faced Harry S. Truman and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Tigers 4-3.

Kyle Book was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Peyton Shaw also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Council Rock North is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Harry S. Truman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Council Rock North will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
