Camp Hill wins going away against East Juniata

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middletown, the Camp Hill Lions were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They took down East Juniata 56-40. That 16 points margin sets a new team best for Camp Hill this season.

East Juniata's loss came despite strong showings from Wrett Smith and Clark Ritzman. Smith scored 24 points, while Ritzman scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Ritzman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Camp Hill's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for East Juniata, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camp Hill will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Steelton-Highspire at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Steelton-Highspire will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for East Juniata, they will head out on the road to square off against Newport at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Newport has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4.
