Football Recap: Canton Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Canton Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Triway Titans and fell 28-0. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Titans are ranked 115th).

Canton Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Triway, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canton Central Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.44 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Triway, they will challenge Orrville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
