Football Game Recap: Alleghany vs. Rockbridge County

Rockbridge County had a rough outing against Lee last Saturday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Rockbridge County took the matchup and then some with a 42-0 victory on Friday over Alleghany. Rockbridge County have a history of success against Alleghany, winning their last head-to-head 42-0.

The win bumped Rockbridge County's record up to 2-1. The defeat dropped Alleghany's record to 0-2.

Next week Rockbridge County take on Lord Botetourt at 7:00 PM. Lord Botetourt will need to watch out since Lord Botetourt have now posted big point totals in their last 3 contests. Alleghany will look to defend their home turf against Cave Spring at 7:00 PM.
