Olympus is 9-1 against Skyline since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Olympus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
Olympus is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Woods Cross on Thursday as they made off with a 24-9 win. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.
Jaedin Mugleston made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off 11 hits. Mugleston was even better at the plate, going 2-for-6 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Mya Palcher was a standout: she went 4-for-6 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allisson Robles, who went 4-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Olympus was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .490. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Skyline's offense. They came up short against Viewmont on Thursday, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Olympus now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Skyline, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Skyline's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Olympus has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Skyline, though, as they've been averaging 10.7 hits. Given Olympus' sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
Olympus got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Skyline by a conclusive 17-0 score. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
