Columbus East won the last time they faced Martinsville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Olympians walked away with a 3-1 win over the Artesians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Olympians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Martinsville still got an impressive performance from Garrett Gardner, who had 19 assists and three digs.

Columbus East's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Martinsville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbus East is set to take on their familiar foe Franklin Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Martinsville will square off against rival Center Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
