Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rosewood walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the East Carteret Mariners on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Rosewood's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for East Carteret, they moved to 15-6 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Rosewood will face off against North Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.4, the Rebels 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. East Carteret does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
