Volleyball Recap: White Oak Comes Up Short

White Oak lost against Longview back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roughnecks fell 2-0 to the Lobos. The Roughnecks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White Oak may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17.

White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Longview, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Oak will take on Mabank at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Longview and Spring Hill will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
