Baseball Recap: Le Mars Takes a Loss

Le Mars was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-4 to the Sioux City East Black Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Black Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-0 defeat on Thursday.

Le Mars' loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Sioux City East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Le Mars will take on Sergeant Bluff-Luton on Monday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sioux City East, they have already played their next game, a 25-4 victory against Glenwood on the 28th.
