It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Hudson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals 8-7. The win was familiar territory for the Explorers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Hudson's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 21-9 record.
