Delta had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They took down the Juab Wasps 50-34. Given the Rabbits' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Wasps are ranked 109th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Delta's record is now 16-2. As for Juab, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Delta will face off against rival Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Juab is set to challenge their familiar foe Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
