Baseball Preview: Beech Buccaneers vs. Siegel Stars
The Beech Buccaneers will head out to challenge the Siegel Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Beech has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Friday, Beech had just enough and edged out Independence 9-8.
Cooper McCandless looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kaden Powell and Cade Philpot did most of the damage at the plate: Powell scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5, while Philpot scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
