Basketball Game Preview: GMG Wolverines vs. Baxter

Having just played yesterday, the GMG Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against Baxter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

GMG will head out to face Baxter after giving up their first home loss of the season on Monday. The Wolverines fell 42-37 to North Tama.

Meanwhile, Baxter entered their tilt with BCLUW on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Comets 56-16. Baxter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 37 points or more this season.

Baxter's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for GMG, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

GMG didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Baxter when the teams last played back in December of 2025, but they still walked away with a 48-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
