            Softball Recap: Geneseo Blue Devils vs. Pavilion Golden Gophers        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Haverling, Geneseo was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   7-4  win over the Pavilion Golden Gophers. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered  a  15-9  loss the last time these two teams met.

 Adelyn McDonald made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than ten  strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Evie Warner, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.  Heather Wright was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs.
Geneseo pushed their record up to 15-4 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Pavilion, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
As of now, neither Geneseo nor the Golden Gophers have any future games scheduled.
