Volleyball Recap: South Iredell Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

South Iredell made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Reagan, but they still couldn't quite topple them. South Iredell was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Reagan on Tuesday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

South Iredell was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-18.

The win (which was South Iredell's fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0. As for Reagan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Iredell will take on rival Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reagan is set to face off against their familiar foe R.J. Reynolds at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
