Volleyball Game Preview: South Colonels vs. North Polar Bears

South is a perfect 6-0 against North since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. South will be playing at home against North at 4:45 p.m. South will be strutting in after a victory while North will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, South narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Burncoat 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

South was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 17-25, 25-15, 15-13.

North kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of Burncoat by a score of 3-2. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

North took Burncoat into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 11-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-21, 25-10, 22-25, 15-4.

South beat North 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does South have another victory up their sleeve, or will North turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
