Stafford is 9-1 against Bolton since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Stafford will head out to challenge Bolton at 3:45 p.m. Stafford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Stafford was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against University on Friday. The Bulldogs blew past the Hawks 12-5. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 13-6 to Canton.

Josh Wagner was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson AmEnde, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

The win got Stafford back to even at 5-5. As for Bolton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything went Stafford's way against Bolton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Stafford made off with an 11-1 victory. Will Stafford repeat their success, or does Bolton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
