Spurger put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 20-6 margin over the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats. 20 seems to be a good number for the Pirates as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Spurger's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hull-Daisetta, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Spurger will square off against Leggett at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hull-Daisetta, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Evadale at 6:00 p.m. on April 1.
