Baseball Recap: Pleasant Grove Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pleasant Grove can now relate to. They came up short against the Bibb County Choctaws on Friday, falling 16-0. The Spartans were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Choctaws' pitchers proved too tough.

With the defeat, Pleasant Grove broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-15. As for Bibb County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-9.
