Woodside had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Hampton on Tuesday. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Crabbers with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Woodside was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

Leading Woodside to victory were Jharen Radovan and Jayden Bruce. Radovan had nine aces and six assists, while Bruce had five digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Bruce a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Troy Dam, who had five digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Woodside was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The victory got Woodside back to even at 5-5. As for Hampton, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Woodside has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Menchville on the 2nd. As for Hampton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Norcom on the 3rd.
