The Wickliffe Blue Devils will venture away from home to challenge the Orange Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wickliffe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Wickliffe didn't have quite enough to beat West Geauga and fell 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan Ruscin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Orange lost 13-3 to Independence on Monday.

Wickliffe's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Orange, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Wickliffe couldn't quite finish off Orange in their previous matchup back in April of 2017 and fell 3-1. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
