Baseball Recap: Bishop Gorman Comes Up Short

Bishop Gorman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Las Vegas Wildcats, falling 16-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Gaels have suffered since March 8th.

Nolan Eberwein was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Alec Kajioka was another key player, scoring a run while going 4-for-5.

Bishop Gorman's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Las Vegas, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

While Bishop Gorman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
