Basketball Recap: Mt. Vernon Takes a Loss

Mt. Vernon lost against Northridge back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets fell 63-52 to the Northridge Vikings. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Northridge, they pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Mt. Vernon will take on Watkins Memorial in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Northridge and Newark Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
