Preview: Bridgehampton Killer Bees vs. Shelter Island Islanders
Bridgehampton is 8-2 against Shelter Island since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Meanwhile, Shelter Island's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight defeat. They took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ross.
Despite the loss, Shelter Island had strong showings from Evan Weslek, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Harrison Weslek, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. It was the first time this season that Weslek grabbed two or more steals.
Bridgehampton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Shelter Island, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
