Softball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Takes a Loss

Stow-Munroe Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the South Range Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Stow-Munroe Falls saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Patterson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Stow-Munroe Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for South Range, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stow-Munroe Falls will square off against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bees have averaged an impressive 11.8 runs per game this season. As for South Range, they will be playing at home against Ursuline at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
