Recap: Robinson Knights vs. Durant Cougars
The Robinson Knights pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Durant at home by a decisive 75-58 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), Robinson still had to take the loss.
Despite the defeat, Robinson had strong showings from Jordan Mickens, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals, and Dylan Russell, who scored 13 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Devyn Wall, who scored nine points.
Durant had a senior duo take command as Wylde Correa dropped a double-double on 24 points and 21 rebounds and Austin White scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Correa has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caden Bokor, who scored five points along with 13 rebounds and five assists.
Robinson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Durant, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.
Robinson will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tampa Bay Tech at 8:00 p.m. Durant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
