Softball Recap: Barrington Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Barrington finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Westerly Bulldogs. The game marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

The defeat snapped Barrington's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for Westerly, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barrington will challenge Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westerly, they will take on Toll Gate at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
