Volleyball Recap: Cary Christian Comes Up Short

Cary Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Cary Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-7.

Savannah Shiley paced Cary Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Shiley got some help from Presley Osborn and her seven assists.

Cary Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wake Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Cary Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill on the 11th. As for Wake Christian Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Pinecrest on the 13th.
