Softball Recap: Foothills Christian Takes a Loss

Foothills Christian suffered their closest loss since May 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Santa Fe Christian Eagles by a score of 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Foothills Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Romeka, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Foothills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Santa Fe Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Foothills Christian will look to defend their home field on Friday against Madison at 4:00 p.m. As for Santa Fe Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tri-City Christian at 3:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
