Baseball Recap: Friends Select Takes a Loss

Friends Select lost against Friends' Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 22-2 to Friends' Central. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Friends Select saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conor Humowiecki, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Friends Select's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Friends' Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Friends Select didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-2 win against George School on the 2nd. As for Friends' Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-2 defeat against Shipley on the 1st.
