Basketball Recap: Linden-Mckinley Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Linden-McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 67-50 bruising from the Centennial Stars. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stars earlier this season, when they won 48-47.

Linden-McKinley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Linden-McKinley will venture away from home to square off against Northland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northland will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Linden-McKinley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Centennial, they will take on Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horizon Science Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge.
