Basketball Recap: Eastmoor Academy Warriors vs. Centennial Stars
Eastmoor Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 64-31 loss at the hands of the Centennial Stars. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-18.
Kennedy Houston had an outrageously good game for Centennial as she almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine steals. Houston has been hot for a while, having posted four or more steals the last 21 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Houston, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastmoor Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
